Heart Game of the Week Recap: William Penn vs. #21 Graceland

William Penn delivered a key road win in the featured Heart of America Athletic Conference Game of the Week, rallying past No. 21 nationally ranked Graceland, 77–73, on Tuesday night in Lamoni, Iowa. The victory tightened the race at the top of the conference standings and gave the Statesmen the head-to-head advantage.
Graceland controlled the tempo early and carried a 38–33 lead into halftime before extending the margin to as many as 11 points midway through the second half. William Penn responded with a strong closing stretch, outscoring the Yellowjackets 44–35 after the break to erase the deficit.
The Statesmen controlled the glass and scored consistently in the paint, finishing with a rebounding advantage and multiple second-chance opportunities. Graceland connected on 11 three-pointers and forced 15 turnovers but shot 31.9% from the field and struggled to score inside down the stretch.
With the win, William Penn improved to 11–3 in Heart conference play, while Graceland now sits at 12–2 as the conference race remains tight entering the final weeks of the regular season.
