Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, Presented by Tarkett Sports – Week 3

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Tarkett Sports.

Attacker of the Week

For the second straight week, Luciana Paiva Pereira of William Woods University is the Heart of America Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. She led the Owls to their first ever Heart of America Conference win after joining the conference this season. She had 21 kills and a hitting percentage of .514 in the 3-1 win over Graceland.

Setter of the Week

Juliana Neves of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. She collected 77 total assists in two matches, as the Vikings went 1-1 on the week. With 11 assists per set, Neves also added seven digs and three blocks on the week.

Defender of the Week

Kelly DeMeulenaere of Benedictine has earned the Heart's Defender of the Week award this week. She averaged 8.43 digs per set, with a total of 59 digs as the Ravens went 1-1 over the weekend.
