Grand View Wins 2026 Heart Competitive Dance Conference Championship
Grand View University captured the 2026 Heart of America Athletic Conference Competitive Dance Championship on Saturday at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.
The Vikings claimed the conference title with a final score of 95.95, finishing ahead of Mount Mercy University, which placed second with a score of 90.40. Baker University finished third with a score of 90.18.
Eight Heart institutions competed for the conference championship, highlighting the talent and depth of competitive dance programs across the conference.
Following the competition, the Heart recognized the top individual performers and coaches for the 2026 season.
Kelsey Nichols of Grand View University was named the 2026 Heart Competitive Dance Coach of the Year, while Addison Aleksiejczyk of Grand View University earned 2026 Heart Dancer of the Year honors.
