Perez, Vigna Selected Heart Baseball Players of the Week

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Baseball Players of the Week, presented by Box Out  on Monday afternoon. 

Ened Perez of William Penn captured the Heart Player of the Week honors, while Baker University's Tyler Vigna earned the Heart Pitcher of the Week award.

Perez hit two home runs and knocked in six RBI's in a two-game series with Waldorf. He hit .429 in the series, going 3-for-7.

Vigna tossed five innings of no-hit ball in a 4-2 win over Dakota Wesleyan on Sunday. The freshman struck out seven batters in the win and walked none.
