Missouri Baptist Sweeps Heart Baseball Player of the Week Awards, Presented by BoxOut Sports – Week 3

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Baseball Players of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports.

Player of the Week

Jayden Orozco of Missouri Baptist is this week's Heart of America Baseball Player of the Week. Orozco went 8-for-15 on the week with six runs, two doubles and three RBI. With a batting average of .533, he helped the Spartans to a 4-0 record.

Pitcher of the Week

Zach Peters of Missouri Baptist is this week's Heart of America Baseball Pitcher of the Week. He pitched in two games, striking out six batters over two innings of work, while also earning two saves against No. 11 William Carey.
