Heart Baseball Players of the Week, Presented by BoxOut Sports – Week 9

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Baseball Players of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports.

Player of the Week

Ryan Malzahn of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Baseball Player of the Week. Malzahn hit .600 on the week, with nine hits, including two doubles, a triple and three home runs. He drove in eight RBI on the week with a slugging percentage of 1.467.

Pitcher of the Week

Ryan McDougal of Benedictine is this week's Heart of America Baseball Pitcher of the Week. McDougal earned a 5-0 win over Baker this week, throwing 4.2 innings where he tallied 11 strikeouts while allowing just one hit.
