NO. 6 MISSOURI BAPTIST CLAIMS 2026 HEART BASEBALL REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — The No. 6-ranked Missouri Baptist University baseball team secured the 2026 Heart of America Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship following a strong finish to conference play.
The Spartans closed out the regular season with a 38-8 overall record and a 24-4 mark in Heart competition, earning the outright regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the Heart Baseball Conference Tournament Championship.
Missouri Baptist put together an impressive and consistent campaign throughout the spring, establishing itself as one of the top teams in the NAIA. The Spartans showcased a balanced approach, combining a powerful offense with a reliable pitching staff to control the conference standings from start to finish.
By clinching the regular season crown, Missouri Baptist has positioned itself for a strong postseason run as it looks to carry that momentum into championship play.
The Spartans will now turn their attention to the Heart Baseball Conference Tournament Championship, set to begin April 30 at the Ozark Mountain Sports Complex in Ozark, Missouri, where Missouri Baptist will enter as the tournament's top seed.
Missouri Baptist will look to continue its strong season and compete for the conference tournament title as postseason play gets underway.
