Senior Spotlight: Julian Cisneros (Grand View)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference will be paying a tribute to our conference seniors over the next few weeks by spotlighting a number of our athletes.
Julian Cisneros, an Illinois native, has spent four seasons as a member of the Grand View men's volleyball program and one season with the competitive cheer program. He is set to graduate in May with a degree in Sports Management.
"I think Grand View has shaped me by showing me what it takes to win and what it really means to be passionate about the sport you play," shared Cisneros.
The No. 1-ranked Vikings men's volleyball program collected its fourth consecutive regular-season conference title this season. Cisneros was a member of the program that earned an NAIA National Championship title in the 2018 season.
"I just want to tell other athletes to be proud of the work you have done and that this is an unfortunate time for all senior athletes, "shared Cisneros. "Your work is much appreciated and it wasn't for nothing. You did the best you could this year and this situation is out of your control. Remember to be proud and try to stay positive during these times!"
