Doerflers Record Setting Day

Derek Doerfler kicked a 62 yard field goal with 48 seconds remaining in the game to put the Baker Wildcats over William Jewell 15-13.He also added kicks from 27, 20 , 53 and 32 yards to record all of the Wildcats points on the day. Doerfler set two Baker records Saturday, longest FG made, and most FG made in a single game with five. For his efforts on the day Derek has been named National and Conference Player of the Week. The Wildcat defense also played a big part in the win holding Jewell to only 35 yards of offense in the first half.
The Cats will travel to Springfield Mo. this weekend to face Evangel University, kickoff is scheduled for 1:30.
