HAAC Trio Stake Claim to Top 10 Rankings
The Vikings enjoyed a week off as they prepare for their showdown with Benedictine this Saturday, October 15 at Larry Wilcox Stadium in Atchison, Kan. Despite being idle, Missouri Valley moved up one spot in the polls after William Penn (Iowa) suffered its first loss of the campaign and dropped out of the Top 10.
MidAmerica Nazarene won its third-straight after suffering its only loss of the season to Missouri Valley back on September 10. The Pioneers posted a 60-14 home victory over Culver-Stockton on Saturday and play a neutral site game this weekend against Southern Nazarene (Okla.) at Cesena Stadium on the campus of Wichita State University.
The Ravens became one of four teams with at least six victories after earning a 26-3 win at Central Methodist last week. Benedictine continues to lead the HAAC and sit 2nd in the NAIA in scoring defense (5.0) and pass defense (122.0).
