Change Made to HAAC-KCAC Football Series
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The inaugural HAAC-KCAC Football Series will have three of its games changed from the original matchups due to a recent disclosure by one of the member institutions.
Central Methodist recently notfied the NAIA and the Heart of America Athletic Conference of the use of an ineligible player during the 2012 season, resulting in the forfeit of its two victories. The change in the conference standings shifts the 2013 games involving the Eagles, Avila and Culver-Stockton.
An official statement from CMU included the following statement: "Central Methodist University discovered the use of an ineligible player in its two victories this season, and as a five-star Champions of Character institution, it self-reported the violation and forfeits to the two opposing schools, HAAC and NAIA."
