Culver-Stockton Grabs Two Heart Player of the Week Awards
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its fourth Heart of America Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week awards of the 2021 season on Monday, as a pair of Culver-Stockton Wildcats earned Heart Offensive and Defensive awards with Connor Perrine (Offensive) and Pat Robinson (Defensive) earning the honors, while Central Methodist’s Samuel Petrin is the Heart Special Teams Player of the Week.

Perrine led the (RV) Wildcats with five receptions for 164 yards and two touchdowns in Culver-Stockton's win at Missouri Valley. His touchdown catches covered 48 and 82 yards in length and the junior from Cocoa, Florida averaged 32.8 yards per reception.
Robinson registered six tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass breakup for the Wildcats. One of his sacks was a strip sack that led to a defensive touchdown.
The win at Missouri Valley was Culver-Stockton's first since 2004.
Petrin went a perfect, 6-for-6, on extra points in CMU's 44-0 shut out win over Graceland on Saturday.
He also recorded three punts for an average of 41.3 yards per put. The Eagles are now 3-1 on the season.
