Balke, Dooley, Karn Capture Heart Football Players of the Week, Presented by Musco

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its fourth edition of the Heart Football Players of the Week, presented by Musco on Monday afternoon.

Jackson Dooley, quarterback for No. 14 ranked Benedictine College earned this week's Heart Offensive Player of the Week award, while teammate Harry Balke was selected the Heart Special Teams Player of the Week.

No. 17 ranked Baker University's Canon Karn captured the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Dooley had a stellar game for the Ravens in their 45-14 win over St. Ambrose last Saturday. The junior threw for 451 yards and five touchdown passes.

Balke was a perfect 6-for-6 on extra points in the victory over the Fighting Bees and hit a 36-yard field goal, accounting for nine points .

Karn became Baker University's all-time tackling leader in their 61-7 win over Culver-Stockton. The senior also had a pick-six in the win and forced a fumble.
