Aiyo'n Carter of No. 20 ranked MidAmerica Nazarene University earned the Heart Offensive Player of the Week award, while teammate Calvin Broussard was selected the Heart Defensive Player of the Week.
Tavion Campbell of Missouri Valley earned the Heart Special Team's Player of the Week honor.
In MNU's shutout victory at St. Ambrose, Carter caught three touchdown passes and recorded 197 receiving yards. All three of his catches on the day went for touchdowns, with his longest reception of 78 yards.
In the shutout victory, Broussard supplied the Pioneers with 12 tackles, including 2.5 sacks.
Campbell tied a program and NAIA record with a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown for the Vikings in their 35-17 win over rival Central Methodist. It marked his second kickoff return for a touchdown of the season.
