Parsons, Ramsey, Todd Earn Heart Football Player of the Week Honors

After some key matchups last Saturday, the following student-athletes were selected Heart Football Players of the Week.
Adrian Parsons of No. 12 nationally ranked MidAmerica Nazarene University earned his second Heart Offensive Player of the Week award, while Rakweon Ramsey of Missouri Baptist was named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week and JaShawn Todd of No. 7 ranked Benedictine College captured the Heart Special Teams Player of the Week.
Parsons threw for 374 yards and five touchdowns in the 48-47 win over Benedictine in the Heart Conference Network Game of the Week.
The senior threw two TD's in the 4th quarter to lead the Pioneers to victory and to keep their 8-0 perfect record.
Ramsey and the Spartans defeated Missouri Valley 29-23 last Saturday. In the victory, the senior had six tackles with four for loss and two sacks.
Todd returned a kickoff for a 79-yard touchdown with seven seconds remaining against MNU to bring the Ravens to within one point. He would finish the game with 279 yards of total offense and two touchdowns.
