Heart Football Makes History, Four Teams Qualify for NAIA-FCS Playoffs

The Heart of America Athletic Conference earned four bids to the NAIA-FCS, the most in conference history in a single season.
No. 2 Grand View, No. 9 Benedictine, No. 12 MidAmerica Nazarene and No. 13 Baker all qualified.
Grand View, Benedictine and MNU all earned a first round bye, while Baker will host No. 20 Pikeville (Ky.) on Saturday November 23 in Baldwin City, Kansas.
Grand View won its sixth-straight Heart North Division title and earned an automatic berth, while Baker, Benedictine and MidAmerica Nazarene all tied for the Heart South Division title. Benedictine earned the automatic qualifier to the NAIA-FCS, as they were the highest ranked team in the final NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 poll on Sunday.
