Heart Football Players of the Week, Presented by Musco Lighting – Week 2

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Football Players of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting.

Offensive Player of the Week

Destynd Loring of William Penn is this week's Heart of America Football Offensive Player of the Week. Loring carried the ball 26 times for 203 yards and three touchdowns in a big win over No. 16 Baker on Saturday. Loring also caught three passes for 21 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week

Ashton Fowler of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Football Defensive Player of the Week. Fowler record four tackles in the game but also tallied two interceptions including one that setup the Eagles' first touchdown of the game against St. Ambrose.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Aiyo'n Carter of MidAmerica Nazarene is this week's Heart of America Football Special Teams Player of the Week winner. Carter had a huge 90-yard kickoff return for a touchdown which turned the game around in a road win over Clarke.
