Heart Football Players of the Week, Presented by Musco Lighting – Week 3

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Football Players of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting.

Offensive Player of the Week

DJ Dixon of Peru State is this week's Heart of America Football Offensive Player of the Week. Dixon completed 30 passes against Central Methodist for 536 yards and seven touchdowns. He also carried the ball for 101 yards on 10 carries as the Bobcats won, 64-43.

Defensive Player of the Week

Marquis Harry of William Penn is this week's Heart of America Football Defensive Player of the Week. Harry tallied a pair of interceptions in the game, as the Statesmen upset No. 12 MidAmerica Nazarene.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Jesse Johnson of Missouri Valley is this week's Heart of America Football Special Teams Player of the Week. Johnson returned a kickoff for a 93-yard touchdown against Culver-Stockton on Saturday and totaled 177 kickoff return yards for an average of 44.3 yards per return.
