Heart Football Players of the Week, Presented by Musco Lighting – Week 8

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Football Players of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting.

Offensive Player of the Week

Destynd Loring of William Penn is this week's Heart of America Football Offensive Player of the Week. Loring rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns, breaking the school record for longest play from scrimmage with a 98-yard touchdown run.

Defensive Player of the Week

Caden McDermott of St. Ambrose is this week's Heart of America Football Defensive Player of the Week. McDermott led St. Ambrose with six tackles and intercepted three passes which is the second most in a game in school history.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Ian Zohner of Missouri Baptist is this week's Heart of America Football Special Teams Player of the Week. Zohner was perfect on all three field goals on Saturday, scoring every point for the Spartans. His longest field goal set a new Missouri Baptist record at 52 yards.
