Heart Football Players of the Week, Presented by Musco Lighting – Week 9

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Football Players of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting.

Offensive Player of the Week

Kyle Dixon of Culver-Stockton is this week's Heart of America Football Offensive Player of the Week. Dixon recorded 11 receptions for 236 yards and three touchdowns, braking the school record for receiving yards in game which had lasted 36 years. His 236 yards also put him over 1,000 receiving yards for the second straight season.

Defensive Player of the Week

Kaden Thomas of Culver-Stockton is this week's Heart of America Football Defensive Player of the Week. Thomas had a team-high eight tackles and registered two sacks, two tackles for loss and returned an interception 58 yards for a touchdown. He also forced a fumble that was picked up by a teammate and returned 54 yards for another defensive touchdown.

Special Teams Player of the Week

Christian Klobe of Benedictine is this week's Heart of America Football Special Teams Player of the Week. Klobe remained perfect on the year in PATs, going 7-for-7 in the first half. He also averaged 57.9 yards per kickoff.
