Heart Men’s Basketball Players of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies – Week 1

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Men's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies.

Offensive Player of the Week

Ashton Lovette of Peru State is the first Heart of America Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week. Lovette scored 64 points over three games this week with a week-high 27 points coming against Georgetown. Lovette also picked up 15 assists in that game to earn a double-double.

Defensive Player of the Week

Foday Sheriff of William Penn is the first Heart of America Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Sheriff recorded six steals and one block as the Statesmen started the year with three wins. He also scored in double figures in all three games to earn two double-doubles.
