Peru State Sweeps Heart Men’s Basketball Player of the Week Awards, Presented by WinWon Technologies – Week 9

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Men's Basketball Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies.

Offensive Player of the Week

Ashton Lovette of Peru State is this week's Heart of America Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week. Lovette scored 28 points against William Penn as the Bobcats got the win. He knocked down five three's and went 9-for-14 from the field. He also tallied eight rebounds and three assists in the game.

Defensive Player of the Week

Denim Johnson of Peru State is this week's Heart of America Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. Johnson had four rebounds, two blocks, three steals and two assists in the team's win over William Penn on Saturday. He also added 11 points in the game.
