Heart Announces Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week - April 14

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Lacrosse Weekly awards on Monday afternoon.

Eli Hahn of (RV) St. Ambrose was named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week, while Vinny DeMarco of William Woods was named the Heart Offensive Player of the Week.

DeMarco led Woods to two victories last week, a 20-2 win over Midland and a 23-5 win over Clarke.

The senior scored eight goals and had two assists in the win over Midland and followed that up with eight goals and four assists against Clarke.

Hahn and the Fighting Bees also had two Heart victories last week with a win over Missouri Valley, 19-1, and a win over Midland, 14-2.

The sophomore had nine caused turnovers and collected 22 ground balls in the two victories. He also had four goals and three assists on the week.
