William Penn to 2026 NAIA Men’s Lacrosse National Championship
OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — The NAIA has announced the eight-team field for the 2026 NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Championship, set for May 12–16 at the Jack Allen Sports Complex in Decatur, Alabama. The Heart of America Athletic Conference will be represented by William Penn University.
William Penn University earned the Heart's automatic berth after winning the Heart Men's Lacrosse Conference Tournament Championship. The Statesmen enter the national championship ranked No. 8 in the NAIA Men's Lacrosse Coaches' Poll and carry a 12-3 overall record into postseason play.
William Penn is making its second appearance at the NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Championship and will look to build on a strong season against a competitive national field.
The eight-team field will compete in a single-elimination format beginning with quarterfinal play on May 12.
Heart First-Round Matchup
Tuesday, May 12 (1 p.m. CT)
No. 5 William Penn University vs. No. 4 Reinhardt (Ga.)
The tournament continues with semifinal matchups on May 14, followed by the national championship game on May 16 at 5 p.m. CT.
