Benedictine Men's Soccer Cracks NAIA Top 25
Since the preseason poll was released, the Ravens have been right on the verge of cracking the top 25 and finally this week, after pushing their overall record to 9-1 with a win over HAAC rival William Jewell on Saturday, the Ravens cracked the NAIA top 25 this week with a No. 21-ranking.
It is the first ranking for the Ravens since they were ranked No. 15 in the Nov. 11, 2008 poll.
Benedictine becomes just the second team from the HAAC to earn a national ranking. Baker University, who is 6-0-2 on the season and 0-0-2 in HAAC play is currently ranked No. 6.
William Jewell received 19 votes and was the only other team from the HAAC mentioned in the weekly top 25 release by the NAIA.
Benedictine travels to Central Methodist for a 7 p.m. match on Saturday in Fayette, Mo.
