BAKER CLAIMS 2025 HEART MEN'S SOCCER REGULAR SEASON TITLE
The Baker University men's soccer team secured its first Heart of America Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship, presented by WinWon, since 2017, following a 2-0 win over Missouri Valley College on Saturday, Nov. 1, at Hartley Field in Baldwin City, KS.
Receiving votes in the latest NAIA national poll, the Wildcats capped a remarkable late-season run that saw them go unbeaten in their final 10 matches to turn their season around after back-to-back losses in mid-September. During that stretch, Baker collected six shutouts and climbed steadily up the Heart standings to reclaim the league's top spot for the first time in eight years.
With the win, Baker closed the regular season at 12-4-2 overall and 9-3-1 in Heart play, clinching the No. 1 seed for the upcoming Heart Men's Soccer Conference Tournament.
