Heart Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies – Week 2

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies.

Men's Track Athlete of the Week

Cody Hammond of Park is this week's Heart of America Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week. Hammond won both the 1,500-meter run and the 4x400-meter relay this week at the SBU home meet. He hit the A Standard in the 1,500, while the 4x400-meter team hit the B Standard.

Men's Field Athlete of the Week

Joe Loughman of Benedictine is this week's Heart of America Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Loughman hit the A Standard in the Javelin with a mark of 63.65 meters to take third at the ESU Spring Open.
