2025 Heart Men's Volleyball All-Conference Selections Announced
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Heart Men's Volleyball All-Conference teams and postseason award winners on Friday afternoon.
Each of the Heart All-Conference teams and postseason award winners were selected by the Heart head coaches.
Coach of the Year - Tom Young - Missouri Baptist
Coach Young led the Spartans to a 24-4 overall record and 17-2 mark in Heart play in 2025. Capturing a share of their first Heart regular season championship in program history.
Assistant Coach of the Year - Leonardo Bilitardo - Missouri Valley
Coach Bilitardo also helped lead the Vikings to a share of their first Heart regular season conference championship in program history. The Vikings shared the title with Missouri Baptist. MVC will serve as the No. 1 seed in this week's conference tournament.
Co-Player of the Year - Michael Olson - Missouri Baptist
Alson averaged 3.59 kills per set for MBU and had 348 total kills on the season. On the year he hit .310.
Co-Player of the Year - Samuel Essilfie - Missouri Valley
Attacker of the Year - Marko Javonvic - Missouri Baptist
Jovanovic averaged 3.59 kills per set as well for MBU and had 352 total kills and a hitting percentage of .315.
Libero of the Year - Richard Struska - Mount Mercy
The freshman averaged 3.77 digs per set this season and collected a total of 309 digs on the season with 247 coming in Heart play.
Freshman of the Year - Richard Struska - Mount Mercy
Struska and the Mustangs finished the regular season with the top spot in the Heart North standings at 15-4 and earned the No. 3 seed in this week's conference tournament.
Middle Blocker of the Year - Britten Beallis - William Penn
The junior averaged 2.51 kills per set this season for the Statesmen and 1.11 blocks per set. He had 22 solo blocks this season and 82 block assists.
Setter of the Year - David Rudic - Missouri Baptist
Rudic supplied the Spartans offense with 1,053 total assists, along with 10.97 assists per set and 142 total digs.
