Heart Men’s Volleyball Players of the Week, Presented by BoxOut Sports – Week 8

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Men's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by BoxOut Sports.

Attacker of the Week

Curdin Acklin of Mount Mercy is this week's Heart of America Men's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. Acklin tallied 25 kills on the week, capped off with a 16-kill performance against Kansas Wesleyan.

Setter of the Week

Brady Zell of William Penn is this week's Heart of America Men's Volleyball Setter of the Week. Zell had a total of 119 assists in William Penn's three wins this week, while also collecting six blocks and 18 digs.

Defender of the Week

Colt Schmidt of Dordt is this week's Heart of America Men's Volleyball Defender of the Week. Schmidt averaged 4.58 digs per set as Dordt went 3-0. He matched a season-high with 24 digs in the team's four-set win over Culver-Stockton.
