Don Griffin of Central Methodist Earns Heart Men's Wrestler of the Week Award

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Men's Wrestler of the Week award, presented by Musco on Monday afternoon.

Don Griffin of Central Methodist was selected the Heart Men's Wrestler of the Week after a perfect 6-0 record at the MVC Invite.

The senior knocked off three ranked wrestlers on his way to the 157-pound championship, including a 4-2 decision victory over Cole Price of Concordia (Neb.), as well as a major decision, 10-2, win over Elliott Rodgers of Marian University.

In the championship, he defeated No. 1 ranked E'Ian Heard of Grand View.
