Heart Conference Wrestling Duals Make Historic Debut in Davenport
The Heart of America Athletic Conference hosted the first-ever Heart Wrestling Duals on December 13, 2025, bringing nine programs together for a full day of competition at St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.
The inaugural event featured a strong mix of nationally ranked teams, including No. 1 Grand View, No. 11 Missouri Valley, No. 14 Central Methodist, No. 19 Missouri Baptist, and No. 25 Baker, along with Graceland, William Penn, William Woods, and host St. Ambrose.

Missouri Valley led the teams with 125.0 total points, while Randy Gonzalez (Missouri Valley) earned Most Team Points with 18.0.
Elijah Larsen of Grand View recorded the fastest fall of the event at 0:27, highlighting the dominance of the nation's top-ranked program.
Heart Open Completes Historic Day
The event also featured the Heart Open, giving varsity reserve wrestlers an opportunity to compete and earn first-, second-, and third-place finishes across weight classes. Together, the Heart Wrestling Duals and Heart Open delivered a strong inaugural showcase for conference wrestling.
