Heart of America Announces Runner of the Week Awards - Week 7

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Cross Country Runners of the Week.

Men's Runner of the Week

Luke Persson of Baker is this week's Heart of America Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Persson recorded his highest finish of the fall after placing third at the Mike Spielman Classic on Friday with a time of 27:56.97. His finish helped the Wildcats to a team title in their final home meet of the season.

Women's Runner of the Week

Anna Joyce of Park is this week's Heart of America Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week. Joyce ran a personal record of 23:05.62 to take home 36^th place at the Bradley "Pink" Classic – White Race.
