First Heart Softball Player of the Week Awards of 2025 Announced

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week awards on Monday afternoon.

Chelsey Huff of William Penn University earned the Heart Pitcher of the Week, while Nevaeh Randall of (RV) Grand View earned the Heart Player of the Week.

Huff earned two victories last week, against Morningside, 6-4, and Dordt, 2-1.

In those two victories, the junior struck out 21 total batters in 12 and 2/3 innings.

In four games last week, Randall hit .417 with an on-base percentage of .429. The sophomore had seven RBI's with three extra base hit, a double, triple and home run.
