Heart Softball Players of the Week Announced - February 24

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Softball Players of the Week, presented by Musco on Monday afternoon.

Reese Cooley of (RV) Grand View garnered the Heart Player of the Week award, while Chelsey Huff of William Penn earned the Heart Pitcher of the Week award.

In four games last week, Cooley hit .545, going 6-for-11 with three doubles and seven RBI's. Her best game came against Columbia. In an 11-0 win, she went 3-for-3.

Huff struck out 25 batters in 12.3 innings of work last week. In a 4-0 win against Hastings, the senior threw a two-hit shutout with 15 strikeouts in seven innings.
