Heart Softball Players of the Week, Presented by Musco Lighting – Week 10

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Softball Players of the Week, presented by Musco Lighting.

Player of the Week

Amanda Waymire of Benedictine is this week's Heart of America Softball Player of the Week. Waymire went a perfect 5-for-5 against William Penn this week, driving in four runs in game two while also scoring a run in both games.

Pitcher of the Week

Hanna Vaught of Park is this week's Heart of America Softball Pitcher of the Week. Vaught threw a two-hit shutout against Peru State and then came back with another complete game to get two wins on the week. She totaled 16 strikeouts with 10 against Peru State and six against William Penn. She only allowed three runs on the week on six hits.
