Mount Mercy’s Madison Dreckman Named WinWon Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

Madison Dreckman of Mount Mercy University has been selected as the Heart of America Athletic Conference WinWon Women's Basketball Player of the Week, announced on Monday. 

The senior forward from Le Mars, Iowa, had a stellar performance last week averaging a near triple-double leading the Mustangs to two conference victories over Culver-Stockton College and Benedictine College.

Dreckman was one block short of a triple-double in the Wednesday victory over Culver-Stockton, completing the game with 13 points and career-highs with 16 rebounds and nine blocks. 

On Saturday, she led the Mustangs in scoring with 24 points and six rebounds. She also added five blocks against the Ravens.
