Heart Golfers of the Week – October 4

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Golfers of the Week on Monday, as Cassandra Contreras of Central Methodist University captured her second Heart Women's Golfer of the Week honor of 2021 and Reagan Streck of Evangel University earned his first Heart Men's Golfer of the Week award of the season.

Streck and the Valor competed at the Lyon College Invitational last week and he shot two rounds at par or below with his scores of 72 and 70.

The junior from Tulsa, Oklahoma placed second overall in a field of 47 total golfers. The Valor placed third overall as a team.

Contreras, who also won Heart Golfer of the Week back on September 20, 2021, shot impressive rounds of 72 and 75 last week for the Eagles at the Missouri Valley Fall Invitational.

The sophomore from Goodyear, Arizona won the MVC Fall Invite, in an event with 29 golfers. CMU won the event as a team.
