Coburn, Franco Capture Heart Golfer of the Week Laurels

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its Heart Women's Men's and Women's Golf Weekly awards on Monday afternoon.

Chad Coburn of Missouri Valley College captured the Heart Men's Golfer of the Week, while Gabriana Franco of (RV) William Penn was named the Heart Women's Golfer of the Week.

Coburn won the Missouri Valley Invitational last week with impressive rounds of 70, 73, and 67 to place first out of 46 total golfers.

The Vikings also took home first place out of eight teams.

Franco placed second overall at the Bethany Classic with her rounds of 71 and 78. The junior placed second out of 36 golfers.
