Benedictine’s Moore, St. Ambrose’s Samson Earn Heart Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week Honors
In the fourth installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Lacrosse weekly awards, Kaylen Moore of No. 1 nationally ranked Benedictine College was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Maggie Samson of (RV) St. Ambrose earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honors.
In the fourth installment of the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse weekly awards, Kaylen Moore of No. 1 nationally ranked Benedictine College was selected the Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Maggie Samson of (RV) St. Ambrose earned the Heart Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Moore scored 10 total goals in the Raven's three games last week, including five in the 13-12 loss to No. 4 ranked Keiser (Fla.).
Moore was named the Heart Defensive Player of the Week on February 27.
Samson and the Fighting Bees went 2-0 last week. The senior goalkeeper made some significant saves in the win over Maria, 13-12, as she had 13 saves. She followed that up with two saves against Franklin College. The Bees are now 3-0 on the season.
