2026 Heart Women's Lacrosse Postseason Awards and All-Conference Lists Announced
The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its 2026 Heart Women's Lacrosse Postseason Award winners and All-Conference lists. Each of the award winners were selected by the Heart head coaches.
Player of the Year: Kaylen Moore – Benedictine
Kaylen Moore delivered a dominant all-around season, totaling 93 points on 53 goals and 40 assists across 15 starts. She paired efficiency with volume, posting a .570 shooting percentage and placing nearly 80% of her shots on goal. Moore's balanced offensive production made her a constant threat and key driver of Benedictine's success.
Offensive Player of the Year: Lorelei Siegel – Benedictine
Lorelei Siegel holds 101 points in the conference, fueled by an impressive 75 goals in 15 games. She consistently pressured defenses with 143 total shots and an .825 shots-on-goal percentage, showcasing both aggressiveness and precision. Siegel's scoring ability anchored one of the most potent offenses in the NAIA.
Defensive Player of the Year: Rachel Livak – Missouri Baptist
Rachel Livak anchored the Spartans in goal, recording 102 saves and a .470 save percentage over more than 730 minutes of action. She maintained a 9.44 goals-against average while consistently facing high shot volume. Livak's presence in net was crucial to Missouri Baptist's defensive stability.
Newcomer of the Year: Sophia Rose – Missouri Baptist
Sophia Rose made an immediate impact, totaling 67 points on 29 goals and 38 assists in her debut season. She demonstrated strong efficiency with a .727 shots-on-goal percentage while contributing as both a scorer and facilitator. Rose quickly emerged as a key piece of the Spartans' offense.
Freshman of the Year: Jacee Grinsteinner – Culver-Stockton
Jacee Grinsteinner turned in an impressive freshman campaign, recording 30 points with 25 goals and five assists. She generated consistent offensive opportunities with 63 shots and 47 on goal. Grinsteinner's production established her as a rising talent within the conference.
Coach of the Year: Clare Hanson – Benedictine
Clare Hanson guided Benedictine to a perfect 15-0 record, including an unbeaten mark in conference play. Under her leadership, the Ravens secured the No. 1 spot in the NAIA Coaches Poll and established themselves as the top team in the country. Hanson continues to elevate the program as a national powerhouse.
Assistant Coach of the Year: Sophia Zegar – Missouri Baptist
Sophia Zegar played a key role in leading Missouri Baptist to an 11-5 overall record and a strong 5-1 mark in conference play. The Spartans also earned national recognition, receiving votes in the NAIA Coaches Poll.
