Heart Women's Soccer Players of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies - Week 3

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies.

 

Offensive Player of the Week

Nerea Munoz is of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Munoz led the Eagles to a 2-0 week, including scoring the game-winning goal against No. 13 MNU with two seconds remaing.

 

Defensive Player of the Week

Marta Carrasco Mesa of Missouri Valley is this week's Heart of America Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. She helped lead the Viking defense that allowed only five shots on goal in a win over Benedictine while also scoring the game-winner and adding an assist against the Ravens. She also helped hold Clarke without a shot on goal.
