Heart Women's Soccer Players of the Week, Presented by WinWon Technologies - Week 8

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Soccer Players of the Week, presented by WinWon Technologies.

Offensive Player of the Week

Mariana Barreto of Central Methodist is this week's Heart of America Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Barreto finished the week with four goals including her fourth hat trick of the season. She also recorded an assist to conclude the week with nine total points.

Defensive Player of the Week

Marta Carrasco Mesa of Missouri Valley is this week's Heart of America Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. She led the defense in giving up only one goal on the week including a shutout against No. 20 MidAmerica Nazarene. She also had a goal in their 2-1 win over Grand View.
