Grossklag Grabs Second Women's Tennis Accolade
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Evangel freshman Amy Grossklag was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday morning.
Grossklag played in the #1 spot in both singles and doubles last week and won 4-of-6 matches. A native of Bonita Springs, Fla., Grossklag claimed a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles against Bethel and Bethany while also claiming 8-4 and 8-1 wins in doubles against the same opposition.
Grossklag will represent the conference in the running for the NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week award, which will be released no later than Tuesday afternoon each week.
