Evangel Freshman Claims Third Tennis Accolade
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Evangel freshman Amy Grossklag claimed her third Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday morning.
Grossklag continued her impressive debut campaign for the Crusaders as she led the team to a 7-2 victory over Missouri Baptist. A native of Bonita Springs, Fla., Grossklag posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at #1 singles before earning a 8-0 victory at #1 doubles to improve to 7-2 in both singles and doubles play this season.
Grossklag will represent the conference in the running for the NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week award, which will be released no later than Tuesday afternoon each week.
