Crusaders Claim Another Women's Tennis Honor
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Evangel freshman Amy Grossklag claimed her third-straight Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week on Monday morning.
Grossklag collected her third-straight Player of the Week award after leading the Crusaders to a pair of wins against conference foes last week. A freshman from Bonita Springs, Fla., Grossklag picked up a three-set win at #1 singles against Missouri Valley before earning a 6-1, 6-1 win against Graceland. She also won both of her doubles matches to help Evangel improve to 10-4 on the season and 2-0 in conference play.
Grossklag will represent the conference in the running for the NAIA Women's Tennis Player of the Week award, which will be released no later than Tuesday afternoon each week.
