William Woods Sweeps Final Heart Men's & Women's Tennis Player of the Week Awards of 2025

The Heart of America Athletic Conference announced its final Heart Men's and Women's Tennis Player of the Week awards of the 2025 season on Monday afternoon.

William Woods University swept the awards, as Kristina Dimitrijovic earned the Heart Women's Tennis Player of the Week, while Aoi Ooka of William Woods was the Heart Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Dimitrijevic helped lead the William Woods women's tennis team to their first-ever Heart women's tennis conference championship last week with wins over No. 4 seeded Missouri Valley and No. 2 seeded Missouri Baptist.

Against Missouri Baptist, the sophomore, earned the doubles point with a 7-6 tiebreaker victory and secured the conference title with her match ending, 6-4, 6-4 in singles.

Ooka went 2-0 in No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles at the Heart championship, helping the Owls win their first-ever Heart Men's Tennis conference championship.
