Heart Sends William Woods to 2026 NAIA Women’s Tennis National Championship
OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — The NAIA has announced the 24-team field for the 45th Annual UTR Sports NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship, set for May 12–16 at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama. One team from the Heart of America Athletic Conference will compete for a national title, as William Woods University represents the Heart at the national championship.
William Woods University earned the Heart's automatic berth after capturing the Heart Women's Tennis Conference Tournament Championship. The Owls enter the national championship receiving votes in the NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Poll and earned the No. 23 seed in the 24-team bracket.
The 24-team field includes 13 automatic qualifiers and 11 at-large selections competing in a single-elimination format for the NAIA Red Banner.
