Vera Beltrame Repeats as Heart Setter of the Week, CMU Garners Player and Defender of the Week
Vera Beltrame of No. 4 nationally ranked Park University has been selected the Heart Setter of the Week for the second-straight week, while No. 11 ranked Central Methodist’s Callie Henson earned the Heart Attacker of the Week honor and teammate Grace Unnvik is the Heart Defender of the Week, announced by the conference office on Monday.

Beltrame dished out 146 assists in just three matches last week, two of which came against No. 3 Midland (Neb.) and No. 9 Viterbo (Wisc.). She also had 26 digs on the week.
Park went 1-2 on the week and currently stand 4-2 overall on the season. Beltrame is averaging an impressive 12.55 assists per set in those six matches.
Henson averaged 3.65 kills per set and hit .491 in the Eagles' four victories last week over (RV) Texas Wesleyan, (RV) Dakota Wesleyan, No. 15 Westmont and No. 19 Oklahoma City. She had 62 total kills last week.
Henson is in the Top five in the NAIA in hitting percentage at .425.
Fellow teammate, Unnvik, recorded 26 blocks in those four victories, averaging 1.44 blocks per set. She is currently No. 7 in the NAIA in blocks per set at 1.41.
