Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, Presented by Tarkett Sports – Week 5

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Tarkett Sports.

Attacker of the Week

Vitoria Campos Mello of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. Campos Mello picked up a total of 38 kills on the week with a week-high 15 kills coming against William Woods. She also had 14 kills against No. 10 Missouri Baptist as the Vikings defeated the Spartans, 3-1.

Setter of the Week

Valentina Navarro of Missouri Baptist is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. Navarro tallied at least 40 assists in two of the three matches this week, racking up a week-high 45 assists against Grand View.

Defender of the Week

Fernanda Perini of Missouri Baptist is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week. Perini helped the Spartans to a 2-1 week with 14 blocks including eight blocks in the 3-0 win over Central Methodist. She also added 22 kills on the week.
