Heart Women’s Volleyball Players of the Week, Presented by Tarkett Sports – Week 9

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Heart of America Athletic Conference is pleased to announce the Heart of America Women's Volleyball Players of the Week, presented by Tarkett Sports.

Attacker of the Week

Luciana Paiva Pereira of William Woods is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Attacker of the Week. She led the Owls to two wins on the week, tallying 42 kills and 18 digs in the matches. She had 25 kills against Columbia and followed that up with 17 kills against Peru State.

Setter of the Week

Silvia Albani of Park is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Setter of the Week. Albani tallied 90 assists, averaging 12.86 assists per set across two matches. She contributed offensively as well with five kills, while adding 11 digs and three blocks defensively.

Defender of the Week

Vitoria Campos Mello of Grand View is this week's Heart of America Women's Volleyball Defender of the Week. She led the team in digs and kills this week, while also tallying 11 total blocks over two games as the Vikings were 2-0 on the week.
